NEXT KIRIBAN: 10,000 pageviews!

The time is upon us!! The first person to note me a screenshot of my 10,000th pageview will receive a free profile-view artwork of their choice in Copics!! It can be a licensed character, original character you have in mind, or even one of my own OC's! If the winner would like the original work (instead of just a scan), it is theirs for the small price of shipping and a poster tube

Original artwork just for you, just for checking out my page! Sweet!! (and remember, everyone--send screens of 10,001-2 just in case someone misses out! glory may yet be in your hands!!)

DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!!
....

May Featured Artist:

Ma-chan has been watching me forever, and I've been watching her grow as an artist for just as long. Her whimsical style with character design and color always makes me smile. Please show her some love, and remember: She offers art commissions at very nice prices

Okay, okay, so I am being a little biased this month. Just remember to keep sending me suggestions for future features, even if you've sent me one already!! I only ask that you keep suggesting different artists

Artwork Updates

Life is insane as usual! Yes, that means crazy is now normal to me. This also means that on top of everything I have to do, I am managing to work on a new piece of artwork for
Serenity. It's promising thus far! It also reaffirms my theory about needing LARGER PAPER. MUCH larger. Like...A or B3. It gives me something more to look for at the summer cons, and we know that Copic loves me like crazy for it :3 They'll be getting a boatload of cash from me for supplies this year.
Which leads to my next update: I am not only a volunteer of the San Bernardino County Fair, but I am quickly becoming busy with the event itself. More than being a demo artist for a couple of hours this year, I have been asked to station the gallery as much as possible to...any guesses? Draw. Yes, draw. Draw random things over as many days as I can attend while motivating others to do the same. For someone that draws something that can be called an actual displayable work of art (not some sketch or concept work) every TWO MONTHS at best, this is quite a pickle. Quite a pickle, indeed. I will surely take some cell shots of some of my favorite pieces and will add those to the scrap gallery. And to think that next year I will essentially be living at the fair! There are many things planned already, and I have some ideas of my own to throw in to the mix.
Finally, I want to bring up the possibility of offering artwork commissions. Now now now, don't get TOO excited just yet!! I am waiting until after my summer conventions before offering these online because I need supplies--direly!! The commissions would be for whatever type of art you want, with an option for you to buy the original as well--and that's something that few people offer, indeed. Minor things like a character profile/concept sketch or lineart would be sold only as an original, and priced accordingly. Of course, this will all be done with traditional media (Copic markers), and CG is not an option I am offering--EVER. Although I can pull off a mean digital paint in Photoshop these days, it also takes me infinitely longer to complete compared to something I can sit with and make on paper.

Cosplay Life

Cosplay is on hold for another week, in hopes of my schedule clearing up after finishing work at the fair. When I start sewing, I don't enjoy stopping for any reason, and right now I need to focus on artwork. Next on my cosplay list: Something secret. It may or may not be complete for this year's conventions since it is not the only costume I'd like to have finished. I'd like for it to be complete, though.

Assorted Whatnot

They told me that if I do well then I get to have a party with cake but I am worried that it will turn out like that other time with the crazy computer and the pew pew gun and the cake was gone before I got there and the CUBE, OH WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THE CUBE!!
(note: Ayabi highly reccommends play of the minigame Portal. You can find it in The Orange Box or by itself. Either way, play it. If you do, you will have cake, too.)

Priest: TU Ancient Mummies. Harder since they nerfed teleport precast, but not impossible.
Alchemist: CT UG, mob Bathories until I'm out of pots or fly wings (Jokers kill).
Group:
Priest: Mobbing Tamruans with a Hunter.
Alchemist: Mobbing Tamruans with a Priest.
...I think you get the idea, lol. I don't find Bio3 or AL to my liking, mostly because they take such large groups to operate properly. Back in my guilded days, Bio3 would have done just fine, but I lack the dedication to iRO needed to keep a regular party. I stick with my few friends, and have a perfectly fine time soloing when they're unavailable or on a break.

I wouldn't say WoW is perfectly better, but it's more enjoyable for me, personally. I ran out of having endles hours to spend mobbing places up for exp at my level. WoW allowed me to level more quickly, by far. Keep in mind that the quests in WoW are entirely optional. Most of them you do out under normal gameplay, anyway, especially when you move to a new area (kill x amount of monsters, etc.). It's also easier to find people to do something just by looking for people that want to do it in the LFG (Looking For Group) system, or by listing yourself in it for other people to look up. Beats the heck out of sitting for hours with a chat up asking to party for exp somewhere when your guild is offline or MIA. It's more social, for sure, since you have to group with people to get any endgame items. You can always solo it out, but that's not really fun at all, right?

Ahem, don't click this, you've been warned.
once you get out of the woe-business the game itself is quite boring 'cause there is nothing to do xD no quests, no new lvling places, etc etc. on euRO they started some events and they try to make it better 'cause they are celebrating the 4th birthday of euRO but well.. I still don't think I'll ever get addicted to this game again xD

I probably have screenshots of the precasts on my laptop, but I don't feel like digging it out :3 My PC is post-RO.
And yes, WoE was very painful. Coming from someone on a 56k for all sieges I took part in, it was a horrible period that I would rather forget than get involved in again.
Instead, I get to have happy fun times on WoW and shell out huge cash in repairs. It makes broken armor in RO look not so bad
